Parentology with Paula – Charlotte’s Story

This morning, Charlotte's Story aired on channel CW15 Albany on the Parentology with Paula show.
We had been interviewed by show reporter Aliz Koletas toward the end of February, in what was a great sit down interview style recording. We covered all that we went though back at the start of 2009, just two short years ago.
We are thankful for the opportunity to be able to share Charlotte's Story, and are grateful that Parentology with Paula gave us that opportunity. Thank you!
Adirondack Balloon Festival

On Thursday, September 23, 2010 we all went to Crandall Park in Glens Falls to watch the balloon launch. This was a great time, and Charlotte loved seeing all the different types and colors of the balloons. Her favorite ones were the Strawberry Balloon and the Pumpkin Balloon.

Apple Picking at Hick’s Orchard

On Saturday, September 11, 2010 it was a absolutely beautiful day. We decided that since it was the first day of the apple picking season up at Hick's Orchard we would take Charlotte, as she had been asking Granny for a little while if the apples were big enough yet. Granny, Daddy, Charlotte, Aunt Judy and Rob all when up to Granville, NY to the orchard and pick a bagful of Macs and Courtland apples. Yummie!

Labor Day and upcoming family visits
Labor Day weekend was spent in a lazy way, watching movies with Charlotte and helping JoAnn with Lucy. On Saturday morning I made breakfast for the girls, and then on Sunday we went to Ridge Road Wesleyan Church to hear Pastor Dean's message. On Monday we all spent the day in our pajamas, and now have to face a new week where we will be taking a tour of Charlotte's pre-school, meeting her new teacher, and getting a visit from Aunt Judy who lives in Kansas. Should be a good time.
Great Escape at Six Flags Great Escape

On Thursday, August 19 we took Charlotte to Six Flags Great Escape as part of the Starlight Children's Foundation group. This is a great charity and we thank them so much for allowing us to be part of this day at the Great Escape. Charlotte had a complete blast!
Here are some videos from the day out.
