Labor Day and upcoming family visits
Labor Day weekend was spent in a lazy way, watching movies with Charlotte and helping JoAnn with Lucy. On Saturday morning I made breakfast for the girls, and then on Sunday we went to Ridge Road Wesleyan Church to hear Pastor Dean's message. On Monday we all spent the day in our pajamas, and now have to face a new week where we will be taking a tour of Charlotte's pre-school, meeting her new teacher, and getting a visit from Aunt Judy who lives in Kansas. Should be a good time.
Family Reunion: Catskills Train Ride
On Saturday, July 17, we went to a Family reunion for the children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren (Charlotte!) of John and Doris Lamos. This was a great time and we saw so many folks that we had not seen in a while.
Here are some photos from our train ride on the Delaware and Ulster Railroad. What a great time!
Home from the British Isles
We got home at about 6:35pm this evening. We will work on some holiday notes and getting photos and videos up for all to enjoy over the weekend as time permits. Great to be home, even if it does feel like 1am right now!
New Years Day in Crandall Park
Granny, Poppa, Mommy, Daddy and Charlotte went for an afternoon walk in Crandall Park on New Years Day. It was only 14°F (-10°C) outside, bbrrruuuggghhh!!!!
Boxing Day Blues
OK, so I'm now working through the Boxing Day Blues (wikipedia: Boxing Day), having done the gifts and all yesterday. And it is only so many hours that one can go without being physically attached to a computer keyboard without having to fix something for someone!
On a possitive note, I'm going to try to get a co-op game of CoD: WaW going tonight with Dan Byron. I played a little bit yesterday, and it looks like it will be really good in co-op play.
